Opening Hours       Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm

At Tiddlers Nursery we have a term time only option of 38 weeks a year or full time option of 50 weeks a year. We are closed for the Christmas holiday and closed on Bank Holidays.

Tiddlers Nursery charges by the session times stated above. Children cannot be left before or after their booked session times unless agreed. This is to ensure correct staffing ratios are adhered to as set by Ofsted.

All booked sessions will be invoiced monthly in advance.

One month’s written notice is required to make any changes to agreed sessions or for a child leaving the Nursery.  Full fees are due if less than one month’s written notice is received.

Invoices must be paid in full by the 1st day of the month.

Payments can be made by bank transfer, childcare vouchers or using the tax-free childcare scheme. Parents are requested to use their child’s name/invoice number as reference for any payments.

All booked sessions will be invoiced for irrespective of any absence due to illness, appointments and holidays. Fees must still be paid if children are absent to ensure you keep your child’s place at nursery.

Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds, credits or swap days for missed sessions.

In the event that Tiddlers Nursery closes due to adverse weather or an emergency situation such as flooding, snow, no water or heating we will endeavour to give as much notice as possible. Tiddlers Nursery reserves the right to offer replacement sessions in this instance. No refunds will be issued.

We have a flexible approach to delivering the EYEE Funded hours. Funded hours can be claimed between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Registration

If you wish to register your child with Tiddlers Nursery please request and complete a registration form and return with a £20.00 registration fee (non-refundable). A deposit equivalent of one month’s fees may be required upon acceptance of a place. The deposit is fully refundable when you give notice to leave. There is no registration fee and deposit due if your child will only access EYEE Funded session.

EYEE Funded sessions

EYEE Funded sessions are available for all eligible children aged 9 months +, 2yrs, 3yrs and 4 year olds from the start of term after their birthday or the term after they have turned 9 months. The entitlement is for a maximum of 570 hours a year which equates to 15 hours a week over 38 weeks a year, term time only.

You will receive a Parental Declaration form from Tiddlers Nursery when your child is eligible to receive the EYEE funding. East Sussex funding periods are Autumn Term 1 and 2 (September – December), Spring Term 3 and 4 (January – March) and Summer Term 5 and 6 (April – July). The parental declaration form will only be available in September, January and April. Once completed no changes can be made to the funded sessions until the start of the next funding period. Any increase or change in hours will be invoiced for at our hourly rate.

Tiddlers Nursery also offers the 30 hours working parent entitlement available for children aged 9mths+ to starting school. The entitlement is for a maximum of 1140 hours a year which equates to 30 hours a week over 38 weeks a year, term time only. You do not have to claim the full 30 hours, you only need to claim for the set hours you would like your child to attend Nursery.

Tiddlers Nursery also offers to ‘stretch’ your entitlement by using fewer hours over more than 38 weeks per year, for example 21 hrs a week over 50 weeks a year.

More information regarding funding is available on the website www.beststartinlife.gov.uk  Parents will be able to check their eligibility for children aged 9 month+, 2 year old funded hours (working families) and also 30 funded hours (working families) using the online childcare calculator and if eligible, submit an online application. Once signed up parents will receive a code which can then be brought into Tiddlers to be verified by the Local Authority.  All EYEE session are subject to availability.

It is really important that session times are adhered to when your child is claiming EYEE funding. Failure to attend on a regular basis at agreed session times may result in funding being withdrawn.

Outstanding fees

If you are having any difficulty in paying nursery fees, it is essential that you tell us straight away. We are happy to discuss the possibility of alternative payment arrangements and payment plans when parents are in genuine financial difficulty.

Payment of fees is due in full by the 1st day of each month.

After 7 days a reminder letter will be issued for outstanding fees. A late fee of £5.00 per day will then be added to the outstanding invoice. Tiddlers Nursery reserves the right to discontinue childcare for families who persistently fail to settle invoices on time.

Tiddlers Nursery reserves the right to change our session fees at any time, giving one calendar months written notice. Fees will be reviewed annually.
